  Visual_active presents an adventurous live event with a strong emphasis on audio-visual performance, Vj-ing and live media-art. Main target is to present innovative approaches to interactivity within live sound and image.

  Many artists nowadays start to explore the relation between image and sound, and like to challenge live interaction on stage. Because technology has become increasingly userfriendly, artists can now develop their own tools to use in live performance. These technological and artistic innovations enhance the creative industry, and help to create a vibrant art-community worldwide.

  For State of the image, a selection of international media-artists has been invited. Artists that have been recognised for their artistic achievements, and still participate actively in the contemporary media-arts.

VJ Cult also welcomes special guest Yu Maruno AKA Glamoove, giving a 30-minute live presentation of his work as a leading Tokyo VJ, and answering questions from the audience.
